It’s been a very exciting month as we’ve seen how the Winter Olympics are bringing immersive entertainment to audiences around the world. Productions such as The Olympic Channel’s original VR series “Trending Gold,” and experiences such as Samsung’s VR snowboarding and skeleton pieces, are bringing fans closer to both the sports and the athletes. Closer to home, our fearless leader Lucas spoke at this month’s HPA Tech Retreat on “immersion and the singularity,” and appears in the latest issue of Post Magazine discussing how to maximize value for clients through a hybrid production approach that incorporates both traditional 2D and VR/360º content.
